Mikio Tada

I'm a third-year Biomedical Science PhD student at Diego Chowell's lab at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. I want to understand how we can leverage deep learning to discover new biology related to the tumor immune microenvironment and improve prediction of immunotherapy response. Ultimately, I hope to bring these findings into the clinic.

Previously, I was a Research Specialist co-mentored by Michael Keiser and Maria Wei at UCSF. My reserach was related to computational pathology. Degrees: MS in Data Science from the University of San Francisco and BS in Mathematics from Juniata College.
